ReStore

As the costs of building materials escalate, housing maintenance and improvements become increasingly unaffordable. Iredell County Habitat for Humanity's ReStore, a building materials recycling center, addresses this problem by providing good quality building materials at greatly reduced prices as well as supporting the housing projects of Iredell County Habitat for Humanity.

Our Habitat Restore opened in February of 2000. Many other Habitat affiliates already had Restores, and had found them to be very profitable. Every since its beginnings, Habitat for Humanity Restore has been successful. Each year, its sales have increased as more and more people become aware of its existence. However, many people are still not aware that the Restore is open to the public, or that all the profits made from the Restore go back into building more Habitat houses.

Habitat ReStore operates 6 days a week. We welcome donations from individuals, churches or businesses. We accept most household and building items. We carry a full inventory of landscaping items and we have beautiful new lighting for sale. Many of our items are new and are sold to our customers at a very good price. Lowes continues to be a great supporter of Habitat Restore, and they share much of their inventory with us. To view our pricing policies, click here.

The Habitat Restore receives new items each and every day. You never know what will come in the store, every day is an adventure. So please keep checking often to see what is new!

To see the types of items we have in our Restore, check our Materials We Accept list.

Habitat Restore accepts cash, checks and VISA, Discover, American Express and Mastercard.

To schedule a donation pickup, please call us at 704-872-3774. We pickup Monday through Fridays.
