Each year we are pleased to welcome several colleges to our community who choose to work and make a
difference when they could be relaxing. They give of their personal time to make our community a better place.
Collegiate Challenge is a year-round alternative spring break program that offers groups the opportunity to visit our affiliate and work on Habitat homes under construction. Students have the chance to improve skills, connect with new people in a new place and put their faith into action by making a real difference in Habitat for Humanity's work toward affordable housing.
While they are here students drive nails, install drywall and complete other construction duties. Many state that Collegiate Challenge is not about giving up their spring break. Instead, participants view it as an opportunity to have fun, learn new
skills, meet new people and help someone else.
